All Designer Stitches’ Shadow Trapunto kits come in hand workable sizes, making them portable
enough to work on at your convenience. Each Kit and Pattern Pack has been carefully manufactured
so that you will enjoy working up a block which can be incorporated into many products such as
quilts, clothing, cushion covers, framed pictures and many more. *Please note that all
Kit prices are in Australian dollars and includes GST and postage and handling (unless otherwise advised).

	Butterfly Garland 37cm diameter design Fabric colour is ivory Kit: $85 Pattern: $30 This glorious Garland of Butterflies is stunning as a quilt centrepiece, a framed picture or as a cushion cover or what ever your imagination allows. A bonus design sheet contains each of the individual butterflies for you to compliment your Garland design.
Shell Garland 36cm diameter design Fabric colour is ivory Kit: $85 Pattern: $30 A softly coloured design surrounded with gentle swirls of pale blue sea captures the very spirit of the ocean. Each of the eleven Australian shells are also illustrated as single designs and may be used for smaller projects.
Butterflies 60cm x 14cms design, Fabric colour is ivory Kit: $82, Pattern: $30 Companion to the Butterfly Garland, this design is perfect where a more extended shape is required. Butterflies looks stunning framed into a double mat within a frame, to border the Butterfly Garland or even as a top of a long bolster cushion.

Some Hints and Tips ...

* When threading a quilting needle, it is much easier if you brace your wrists together
while threading as this gives you a more steady line from thread to needle eye.

* The ideal length of the quilting stitch is between 7 and 9 visible stitches per inch
(or approximately 1.5 - 2mm long).

* If you have never done Shadow Trapunto before, a six inch practice block is
available with any order of Shadow Trapunto or French Trapunto for only $5 extra.
The Shadow Trapunto block contains the fabric, batting and contrasting yarn so you
can immediately see how the technique works by doing a small section of your design
to fine tune your technique before you start your favourite design.
